The VALUE within yourself!

November 18, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Online Marketing

EACH OF US HAVE VALUE

I really can’t stress this enough.

Whether you realize it or not, you have something of value to offer others.  This value that you have is what will allow you to stand out among the millions of others that are marketing internet business opportunities online.

The hard part is becoming aware of exactly what this VALUE is.  A lot of us have difficulty bragging or saying we are particular good at something, but this is what you need to do RIGHT NOW!

Take some time and think about what you are really good at.  What are your gifts, talents, natural abilities.

Don’t hold back!  We are going to be building off of what you can do with this value.

Thinking…

  • Faith in God
  • Health
  • Physical therapy
  • Photography
  • Children
  • Writing

So, this is my list.  Notice, online marketing does not have to be a strength.  You can learn online marketing by being connected with the right team.

Take some time and get to know yourself right now.  You need to do that before you even think about starting to market online.

Do you have the GIFT?

November 01, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Christians in Business

What GIFT am I talking about here?

Well, let me start by saying I was listening to a Christian radio program yesterday that really encouraged me and I wanted to share with my readers.

God has given us all GIFTS, things that we are good at.  Most of us will naturally focus on our weaknesses and what we can do to improve upon those weaknesses.  The truth is this…

God determines our gifts!  We should not envy the gifts of others and try to become what we are not.

The key is…

Expand upon what your natural gifts are vs. expending time and energy trying to become what you are not meant to be.

So, how does this apply to network marketing?

I’ve heard many say that if you are teachable and willing, you can succeed at network marketing.  While this is VERY necessary for any individual desiring to succeed with online marketing, I do believe those who succeed have some natural gifts.

Take some time to reflect on these qualities and ask yourself if you have the gifts that would be necessary to find success with network marketing.

  • Strong Will- You’re determined, you don’t easily surrender, you are persistent
  • Expression- You are able to express yourself either through words or voice
  • Passion- You have IT

These are just a couple things I believe you either have or you don’t.  There are a lot of qualities a network marketer must have to succeed that I have not even touched on, but those are qualities that I believe can be learned!

Is network marketing something you are naturally gifted at?

You’re a Christian considering network marketing

October 28, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Christians in Business, Online Marketing, Uncategorized

There’s nothing wrong with that!  It’s exciting to be considering a home based business and as a Christian you have a great opportunity to use your business and networking to reach unbelievers!

Here are some things to consider before signing on the dotted line…

  1. The Product: Many network marketers tend to focus more on the business opportunity vs. the product.  This is with good reason and we’ll get to that next, but the product still needs to be something of value.  The product has to be something you believe in.
  2. The Opportunity:  Opportunity= COMPENSATION PLAN + TEAM VALUE   Let’s break this down!  The compensation plan is important.  You need to evaluate the compensation plan BEFORE you invest in a business.  The other component of ‘The Opportunity’ is the value of the team.  This is even more important than the value of the individual personally sponsoring YOU.  Choose a team with adequate training, resources, and support.
  3. Initial Investment: Generally speaking an opportunity that requires a larger investment will have a larger initial return, but you don’t want to start your business without a dime.  You should have at l east $500 saved in addition to the affiliate package for initial marketing efforts.

There it is in a nutshell!

Always do your reserach.

Why do we keep waiting for life to get better?

October 21, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Christians in Business, Life

God gave me a bit of a reminder today about life, and this doesn’t only apply to our personal lives, but our businesses as well.  It seems we go through some type of trial in our life and think that the rest of our days should be easy.  I can use the example of somebody I love very much…lost her son 2 years ago, ended a long term relationship a couple months ago, and now lost a 28 year old co-worker this past weekend that she cared about a ton!

It’s hard not to stop and ask…

Where are you at God?

The answer is…

The same place I was when my own son was crucified!

So whether your struggling personally or your struggling in your business, you must have FAITH that God is by your side and HE is your biggest cheerleader.  Stop depending your YOURSELF or OTHERS on this earth to make things right for you.

The truth about this world is that there is always going to be pain and suffering.  Only when we are in heaven will our tears be forever gone!  It is that hope that should get you through the tough days RIGHT NOW!  If you don’t have that hope than honestly I don’t know how you are living day to day when things get rough.

I pray that if you’re reading this you know exactly what I’m talking about, but if you don’t, I encourage you to visit http://www.needhim.org

So today I just want to encourage you!  Having an online business is not always easy and personal issues are still going to arise, which makes it even harder to focus.  I know because I have been there.  Perseverance is possible when you have Jesus at your center and when you believe that His love is carrying you through every trial and tribulation.

There are many days when I am tired, even exhausted.  Maybe the kids have had a bad day.  Maybe I’ve had a bad day.  But you know what, I make the decision to continue to take ACTION.  I get the strength to take action from God.  Having that kind of dependence is what will take my business to the level I desire.

If you desire to learn how to make your faith as much a part of your business as your personal life visit www.FaithfulEntrepreneurs.com and request more information.

Going Shopping…Woo Hoo

October 18, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Social Networking

I’ve been taking a look the last couple of days at network marketing and the ethics around it. You know, it’s really important to understand why network marketing companies exist at all. What’s the point right.? Why not just go to the local GNC store to get your vitamins? They know what they’re doing, RIGHT???

Companies distributing a product must choose between traditional distribution at a retail store vs. a somewhat less traditional approach with direct sales or network marketing. Let’s break down “network marketing”! Network means “communicate with and within a group” and Marketing means “promotion of products”. So network marketing is “communicating and promoting a product”.

The reason for direct sales vs. retail is actually pretty simple. It eliminates the advertisers, distributors, transportation companies and retail compaines. It’s not some kind of evil scheme to make a bunch of money. It is simply choosing a different way to promote a product.

So, Is it really about the product?

Absolutely…the product is the HEART of any direct sales company. With the product, now comes the opportunity for the average person like you or me to make an income off of the promotion of this product.

Unfortunately, this concept has been used inappropriately in the past with the promotion of a good compensation plan vs. a good product, which has led to many people being fearful of getting involved with a network marketing company.

How do you avoid getting stuck with a lousy product?

So you come across a product and find out is promoted through network marketing. How do you know if it is safe to buy the product? The answer to this is actually very simple. You RESEARCH it just like you would any other product you would consider buying. If it is consumable, you look at the ingredients.

Seems in this day an age we tend to make things more complicated than they are. I’ll tell you what…there is a good chance you are missing out on some excellent products at competitive prices by turning your nose up at network marketing companies.

One other misconception I want to touch on today is this “So now I’ve got to promote this product too?” The answer is “no”. You can be a customer and use the services or product without doing hard core marketing. It would be kind of strange though if you were a satisfied customer and didn’t mention it to your friends and family.

I will continue to try and simplify all of this as we continue. Until next time take a look at my most favorite product right now. Why is it my favorite? Because I am witnessing the positive impact that it has had on the health of so many people I know, and It’s NOT a juice!

The only people succeeding in network marketing are unethical!

October 15, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Mindset in Business, Online Marketing

It never ceases to amaze me how many myths exist about network marketing.  Honestly some of the problem amongst people who allow themselves to believe something like…

The only people succeeding in network marketing are unethical!

…are simply the negative type that are just angry that they haven’t found the same success.  I’m not trying to be abrasive here just honest because I have spent a lot of time around positive people and a lot of time around negative people.  I’m at a place in my life where I can easily recognize the difference.

So the question becomes…

Who is suceeding in network marketing and what are they doing different than those that are failing?

Well, since this is only a blog post, I will make the answer as simple and straight forward as possible.

Knowledge and Mindset

  1. Those that are succeeding understand how to effectively market online and offline.
  2. Those that are succeeding believe in themselves and their ability to succeed.

Is it really that simple?

Visit www.FaithfulEntrepreneurs.com and learn more about how these two things can take you to a new level in your life!

Believe in yourself and your God given gifts and abilities!

Exploring the Christian dilemma with network marketing?

October 14, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Christians in Business

Yep, the big question on the minds of most Christians exploring network marketing is this?

Is this honoring to God?

I often hear the question, “Is this one of those pyramid schemes?”

Let’s take a look at the history of ‘pyramid’ business models.  Just so you’re aware off the bat, these types of business models are now illegal, so they do NOT exist or I would at least hope that they don’t exist.

Pyramid business models allow people to make money simply by recruiting new business builders.  This is different then earning a commission on a product sale.  Making money on recruitment alone is what is illegal about pyramid business models.

So, I think some of the problem in our society is that we equate any kind of home business with the world ‘pyramid’ and the knowledge of ’something bad’.  It’s time to get over it!  The more time I’ve spent in doing network marketing, the more I’ve come to love this business.  If I could pick one word to describe what I love about network marketing it is ‘RELATIONSHIPS‘!  More on that another day though because I have more to say about what the hang ups some people have with network marketing.

I’m not aware of any specific companies out there doing this currently, but at least in the past within some companies there has been an overwhelming focus on specific motivational or spiritual teachings.  Almost to the point that, you must believe this and follow these ways to succeed.

I will say that having something bigger than oneself to believe in is what has lead to the success of most top producing network marketers.  If you haven’t yet, you will be exposed to the controversial teachings of ‘The Secret’ and ‘The Law of Attraction’.

For myself, the motivational teachings were the most difficult for me initially…

Here’s my response…

We can either run from secular teachings, or we can embrace them and stand out in the midst of them.  Who will be the voice of Christ in the midst of a secular world if we continue to  run and hide remaining sheltered in our homes and our churches.

So, I’ll end this blog post there.  More tomorrow I promise.  We’ll keep this discussion going!

Network Markting…Is it bad for Christians?

October 13, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Christians in Business

I often hear from Christian leaders that Christians are the biggest threat to the church. Why do you think that it is? I’ve thought about it a bit and have reflected on the Biblical truth, that we are all sinners. As Christians, pursuing the likeness of Christ, we are imperfect people serving a perfect God. So, where is the threat?

The more I’ve thought about it, the more I’ve realized is that it is when we are NOT pursuing the likeness of Christ that we become a threat to the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why we must be in community with other believers who will be honest with us and encourage us to overcome are hang ups. We should always be moving forward and growing in our walk with God. Most importantly, our actions should speak much, much louder than our words. We must “walk the talk”!

So, Are Christians that are into network marketing a threat to Christianity.

ABSOLUTELY NOT

If anything it is the opposite. Here is a group of people bold enough to go out in the midst of many false teachings and sometimes money hungry people to live out the Christian life. I’ve contemplated many times how much I want to share about my walk with God, and the more I’ve prayed, the more I’ve felt lead to really just put it all out there.

Yah, I’m in this business because I want to provide for my family, but I really see that network marketing is a relationship building business. I can’t think of a better way to demonstrate the love of Christ than through the building and maintaining of relationships.

So, do you even know what ‘network marketing’ is?

Wikipedia defines it as this… business-distribution model that allows a parent company to market its products directly to consumers by means of relationship referrals and direct selling.

You can read more from Wikepedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_marketing

Spend some time just researching what network marketing is. Most home based businesses have some componenet of networking or relationship building. There is nothing wrong with that. Now, of course there are people who don’t do this ethically, and they may even deceive people, but many have found success with ethical practices. And what a great opportunity for us as Christians…to demonstrate what God desires for Christians in business to really look like.

I’m going to explore this more and more on this blog. Every day, taking the analysis a bit deeper. I would appreciate your comments and will try to address all comments in future blogs or responses.

God Bless You…http://www.faithfulentrepreneurs.com

A period of reflection….

October 12, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Christians in Business

For my readers that have followed my blog at all, you may have noticed that I have taken some time off.  I took a period of time away from blogging to really ‘cry out to God’ and ask him where I should be directing my energy when it comes to my time online and specifically my ‘network marketing’ business. I was beginning to feel like I was all over the place and not accomplishing a dang thing.  It’s a warning that is out there among online marketers and I listened to that warning, but still found myself in a place of being overwhelmed with online marketing and network marketing. “What does this have to do with me?” Great question!  Let me first share with you 1 Peter 5:8…

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

You must remain on guard!  It’s easy to just get too prideful in life and get that “it can’t happen to me” attitude! For me, it was with time spent on the computer.  I do desire to have a successful online business, but not at the expense of my family.  And, I desire for my time on the computer to be purposeful. Recently, I felt like I wasn’t getting the results I desired with my online marketing, so I have really spent some time in prayer and asking God what ‘online marketing’ of my business should look like for me!  The answer I got was…

GLORIFY ME

It seems God usually is blunt and straight forward with me, LOL!  I am connected to an awesome, incredible team of online marketers who offer me all the tools I need to find success with my network marketing business, but it’s really up to me to put that knowledge into action. The gold nugget of this entry is to understand that it CAN’T BE ABOUT YOU!  I’ve told myself that over and over, but still my pride and my desires have gotten in the way!  I have been humbled and have realized that it is about my Lord and the people He calls me to serve. So, my focus in all of my actions online will primarily be sharing “how to be a Christian in network marketing”.  This is where my heart lies.  I feel God calling me to really reach out to those who are plagued with misconceptions about network marketing.  He desires for me to help others earn an income from home without crossing their Christian boundaries. Subscribe to my blog and you will be provided with ongoing encouragement about how to be a Christian in network marketing, how to find God in the midst of a perverse world, and how to share Christ with your team! Have a great day! www.FaithfulEntrepreneurs.com

Will personal pain inhibit your growth as a business owner?

September 13, 2008 By: Leslie Kremer Category: Life, Mindset in Business, Personal Development

It seems that sometimes even the most skilled individuals struggle to find success as a business owner and more specifically in network marketing.  Even those that hold top notch technical skills, learn the best online marketing strategies, and move forward fearlessly with off line strategies sometimes have much failure before they ever find success.  Unfortunately, most of them will quit before they ever find success using the phrase, “It just wasn’t for me”.

What is it that is holding these people back?

If I’m working with an individual that isn’t working on personal growth and mind set, my first recommendation would be to take some time for personal development.  It’s important to be taking time daily to ‘grow’ as I discussed in the previous post.

But if I speak to somebody and it sounds like they are doing all the right things and growing personally, then it is time to dig deeper.  This may lead to questions like:

  1. Describe some of the people you spend most of your time around.
  2. What are the dynamics of your family situation or living situation currently like?
  3. What do you do to cope with negative emotions?  How do you overcome these?
  4. Do you have a relationship with God and how is that going?

And really, this is just the beginning of a deeper investigation to what may be holding an individual back, especially if they really want success and they have demonstrated that determination and belief in them self.

I speak of this because I have experienced it.  It is hard to realize how the negativity of others affects you when you have been around that negativity for so long.  Unfortunately though, no matter how “use” to it you get, it is still there and it impacts the way you live your live and the way you interact with others.

It is important to not only develop yourself personally when growing a business, but you also need to check you relationships and how you are coping with any pain in your life.  You need to work through these things.

Let me know if I can help in any way!

Leslie
